Eaton / Cutler Hammer C25DND225 definite purpose contactor that has two poles, is rated for 25 AMPS and has an AC rated coil (must specify voltage below). These DP contactors have double quick connect terminals and mount via a standard metal base plate. Side mounted auxiliary contacts can be added to the C25DND225 and it is a direct dimensional and electrical replacement for the now obsolete Siemens/Furnas 42AF35A definite purpose contactor.

While Definite Purpose contactors were originally designed for the HVACR industry, over the years their use has expanded to many other market segments. If a customer has an application that heats, cools, refrigerates, controls of moves air, then they are probably a good candidate for Eaton's line of C25 DP contactors and starters.

Within the Air-Conditioning segment of motor controls, DP contactors can be grouped into two segments, Compact one and two pole DP contactors from 20 AMPS to 40 AMPS and Standard frame models that range from 15 AMP up to 260 AMP.
