The Schneider Electric 9007 line of oil-tight and water-tight limit switches has the versatility both in electrical makeup and physical operation to meet the needs of any application. The standard Square D 9007C66B2 is housed in a metal body that provides an IP67 level of protection, which allows for the switch to be submersible in water for up to 30 minutes. This metal housing can withstand a higher level of abuse that its plastic counterparts cannot, thus extending the lifespan in rugged environments.
The standard rotary head included with each Square D limit switch allows for clockwise and counter-clockwise operation that actuates after a rotation of only 10 degrees for up to a total of 90 degrees. Each unit has two poles with 1 normally open and 1 normally closed contact set and has a lifespan mechanically and electrically of 1,000,000 operations.
The 9007 series limit switches offer screw clamp terminals for electrical connection, 1 cable entry for 1/2"-14 NPT, and snap action contacts that has become the industry standard.
