The Siemens 3RV2021-4FA10 is a manual motor protector/starter that is adjustable from 34 to 40 AMPS, has phase loss protection and a rotary ON/OFF handle. This IEC rated motor protector offers Class 10 tripping, which will cut power in 10 seconds or less during an over current condition, screw terminals and mounts on standard 35MM DIN rail. Front and side mounted auxiliary contacts can be added to the 3RV2021-4FA10 for additional signalling applications and if a lower AMP range is needed, Siemens offers the 3RV2021-4PA10, which is adjustable from 30 to 36 AMPS.

The 3RV2021-4PA10 MSP’s are UL approved as Self Protected Combination Motor Controllers which are also called Type E. In this application, all the required functions for a motor branch are provided in one device: disconnect, short circuit protection, motor control and overload protection. A type E terminal adaptor is required. These Siemens Motor Protectors are also approved for use as follows:
– Manual Motor Controller: Motor starter, motor disconnect, control and overload protection.
– Group Installation: Motor starter only, motor disconnect, control and overload protection.
