These sensors operate by creating a magnetic field that, when a metal object is sensed within the distance allotted, changes the state of the internal contacts (either normally open or normally closed) to signal the output driver of a change in condition.

This line comes with all possible options, from from flush mount (shielded) and non-flush (non-shielded) with short and long bodies to PNP and NPN versions that are compatible with every possible PLC that is manufactured today.
