The Eaton/Cutler Hammer AE16FNSO is a 32 AMP motor starter with 1 normally open base mounted auxiliary contact and an AC rated coil (must specify coil voltage below). This IEC rated starter comes with a three pole C306DN3 overload relay block though a pack of heaters must be installed, based on the FLA of the motor, to make this starter functional. Additional front and side mounted auxiliaries can be added to the AE16FNSO for additional signalling capabilities and this starter can also be wired for single phase usage to meet any applications requirements.

The Eaton AE16 IEC rated starters feature a compact, space-saving design, using state-of-the-art technology and the latest in high strength, impact and temperature resistant insulating materials. Adjustable bimetallic ambient compensated overload relays with interchangeable heater packs—available in three basic sizes, covering applications up to 900 hp—reducing the number of different contactor/overload relay combinations that have to be stocked. These three-phase, full voltage non-reversing magnetic starters are most commonly used to switch AC motor loads. Starters consist of a magnetically actuated switch (contactor) and an overload relay assembled together.
